What to include
A useful first brief.
You do not need a finished treatment before getting in touch. A useful first message simply explains what you are making, who needs to see it and what the film should help them understand, feel or do.
- Project
- Tell me what needs filming. It can be for a business, event, interview, campaign, property, product, social platform or something completely different.
- Audience
- Who is the film for, and where will they watch it—your website, a campaign, social media, an event or somewhere else?
- Practical details
- Include the location, preferred filming dates, deadline and the horizontal or vertical versions you expect to need.
- Scope
- If you already know the approximate budget, share it. It helps shape a realistic production plan, crew and set of deliverables.
